Tulasi Mala With Silver Caps

This delicate necklace, or rosary as they are sometimes called, is made of the stem of the Tulasi, or Holy Basil, plant. It consists of very small Tulasi beads with silver caps, all joined with silver. Tulasi is a form of sacred basil, and it is also known to have powerful medicinal and protective properties. Since Tulasi is considered to be the Goddess Lakshmi herself, it is especially sacred to Her and to Her beloved husband Vishnu.
